Parent and Guardian Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<p>Parents and legal guardians are responsible for providing accurate information when registering a minor for a program or event.<\/p>\n<p>Parents and guardians are also responsible for informing MJ Rise of information reasonably necessary for the safe participation of a child, including relevant emergency contact information and other information specifically requested during registration.<\/p>\n<p>Certain activities may require separate parental consent forms, liability waivers, emergency medical authorizations, transportation permissions, media releases, or other agreements.<\/p>\n<p>These Terms do not replace any separate agreement or consent form required for participation in a specific MJ Rise program or activity.<\/p>\n<h2>5. Programs, Activities, and Inherent Risks<\/h2>\n<p>Some MJ Rise programs and events may involve physical activity, sports, travel, interaction with equipment, workshops, group activities, outdoor activities, or other activities involving ordinary and inherent risks.<\/p>\n<p>Participants and their parents or guardians are responsible for reviewing program-specific information and determining whether participation is appropriate.<\/p>\n<p>Where appropriate, MJ Rise may require participants or their parents or legal guardians to complete separate acknowledgments, waivers, releases, or consent forms before participation.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.<\/p>\n<h2>6. Event Registration and Tickets<\/h2>\n<p>MJ Rise may offer registration or ticket purchases for tournaments, workshops, fundraising events, community events, or other activities.<\/p>\n<p>Event details, including dates, times, locations, ticket prices, eligibility requirements, capacity, and rules, are subject to change.<\/p>\n<p>Registration is not complete until any required registration information and payment have been successfully received.<\/p>\n<p>MJ Rise may establish additional rules for individual events. By participating in an event, you agree to comply with those rules.<\/p>\n<h3>Event Changes and Cancellations<\/h3>\n<p>MJ Rise reserves the right to modify, postpone, relocate, or cancel an event when reasonably necessary due to weather, safety concerns, venue availability, insufficient participation, circumstances beyond our control, or other operational reasons.<\/p>\n<p>Any applicable refund, transfer, or cancellation policy may be provided during registration or on the applicable event page.<\/p>\n<p>If no separate refund policy is provided, questions regarding cancellations or refund requests should be directed to MJ Rise.<\/p>\n<h2>7. Payments<\/h2>\n<p>Some Services or events may require payment.<\/p>\n<p>You agree to provide accurate and complete information when making a payment or purchasing a ticket.<\/p>\n<p>Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors. Safety and Protection of Minors<\/h2>\n<p>The safety and well-being of youth participating in MJ Rise activities is important to our organization.<\/p>\n<p>Volunteers, mentors, participants, parents, guardians, and other individuals interacting through MJ Rise programs may be required to comply with youth-safety policies and procedures established by the organization.<\/p>\n<p>No individual may use an MJ Rise program, event, website, communication channel, or affiliation to engage in inappropriate, abusive, exploitative, threatening, discriminatory, or unlawful conduct toward a minor.<\/p>\n<p>Suspected violations may result in immediate removal from a program or event and may be reported to appropriate authorities when required or appropriate.<\/p>\n<h2>12. Photos, Video, and Media<\/h2>\n<p>MJ Rise may photograph, film, or otherwise document certain public events, programs, tournaments, or community activities.<\/p>\n<p>Participation in activities involving minors may be subject to separate parental or guardian media-consent procedures.<\/p>\n<p>When a separate photo, video, or media release is required, that agreement will govern MJ Rise&#8217;s use of the applicable participant&#8217;s image, voice, likeness, or other media.<\/p>\n<p>These Terms alone do not constitute a blanket parental media release for minors.<\/p>\n<h2>13. Communications<\/h2>\n<p>When you provide MJ Rise with an email address, phone number, or other contact information, you authorize us to use that information to communicate with you regarding inquiries, registrations, programs, events, donations, volunteer opportunities, or other interactions you initiate.<\/p>\n<p>If you separately subscribe to promotional or marketing communications, you may unsubscribe using the instructions contained in those communications.<\/p>\n<p>Your use of electronic communications is also subject to our Privacy Policy.<\/p>\n<h2>14.
